The hardwired Quartix tracking device must be installed by a trained engineer. Although this is a quick process, it does require a small amount of vehicle downtime while our installers come on site to fix the devices into place. If you would prefer a self-install option, Quartix has two easy-install devices that are a less permanent fixture and can be moved between vehicles at your convenience.

Driver scores update daily and are categorised as Green (above 80) for good, Amber (50-80) for OK, and Red (50 or below) for bad.
Driver scores are based on your speed changes per second of driving. The frequency and severity of these changes are calculated, against total driving time. Acceleration and braking indexes are also formed using this information. Your Quartix driver score is the average of these indexes, subtracted from 100.
The Quartix relative speed score considers the average speed of other drivers on the same stretch of road you travel. It indicates whether your speed was safe in the context of that specific road segment. This helps identify undue risk even when driving within the speed limit, such as on a 60 mph rural road with several tight bends.
