Job Purpose
To assist Quartix in line with their goals and objectives around new business acquisition via acquiring customers of 50+ units this will involve self generated meetings as well as meetings arranged by our telemarketing team to get the potential customers to engage with us. Create a positive purchase experience in line with the Company ethos to assist customer retention.
Key responsibilities
- Target the larger fleets, 50+ vehicles in an agreed UK region
- Engaging new, larger fleet customers through a variety of methods with the aim of arranging meetings for yourself
- Re-engaging previous customers with larger fleets, detail on sales force with the aim of arranging meetings for you to attend
- Performing telephone web-based demonstrations and face to face meetings of the Quartix product and its benefits
- Managing a portfolio of customers to ensure contact until the sale is closed
- Respond with haste to the 50+ leads that come in from enquiries via our websites
- Generating new sales leads through existing customer contacts and company research
- Meet and exceed clearly defined KPI’s as set
- Contacting potential customers through agreed sales methods and targets
- Maintaining an ongoing prospect list of potential prospects
- Input ideas and suggestions to the marketing team for future campaigns
- Provide customers with relevant sales information specific to their requirements
- Targets of 3 meetings per day
- To continue the expansion of our successful sales operations in the UK, we’re keen to reach and exceed our high targets
General responsibilities
- Maintain and develop relationships with customers and potential customers
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities
- Develop ideas and put forward to development team for improved database and system processes
- Maintain and develop relationships with customers and suppliers
- Learn and adapt to new systems as introduced by the business
- Provide cover for team where appropriate
- Ad hoc assignments as required
Travel requirements
- The role will be home based and will be an on the road role.
- Visits to our Newtown head office when required, typically once a quarter for meetings with the team
About you
- Confident with presenting the product in person
- Ability to present written information in a structured and balanced way appropriate to the needs of the reader
- Confident on both the phone and in person
- Able to create prospects via cold calling
- Experience in a sales environment, ideally B2B
- 3 years’ experience in field sales preferably in the telematics market
- Good IT skills, which must include use of Office 365
- Willing to learn in house software, including marketing database
- Good experience in face to face meetings
- Thorough knowledge of our product and benefits it offers
- Ability to work under pressure and enjoys targets
- Results driven
- Excellent time keeping
- Be a good team worker demonstrating loyalty and commitment to the organisation and team members
- Focused with the hunger to succeed in a sales environment
- Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
