Snowdon Homes

Snowdon Homes is a privately owned development company based in Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire. It specialises in planning, designing and building residential development sites for private sale and affordable housing projects across the country with its Housing Association partners.

Following challenges with a previous telematics supplier, Jason Bishop, Plant and Fleet Manager, turned to Quartix. His fleet of over 60 vehicles, comprised of road vehicles and construction plant, such as telehandlers, dumpers and rollers, now has Quartix fleet tracking installed.

As the key user of the system at Snowdon Homes, Jason gave us some insights into his experience so far with Quartix.

Installing the trackers and onboarding

“The installation process has been seamless, working closely with Amber it has all been extremely easy. 

Any amendments and changes have all been dealt with swiftly. I have also dealt with installers directly and nothing was too much trouble for them.”

Customer service and support

“The customer support side of things is excellent.  Any questions or queries are answered quickly by David.

The support team always go the extra mile to make sure that all queries are answered and offer to help further. 

The fundamental thing about the support that I am getting is that it is very responsive and easy to understand.”

System features and functionality

“The key function of this system and who I am working with, is that I can trust it and them to give me the correct information when I need it.

Being able to split different aspects of assets into groups make navigating the system really easy.

Although I am very new to this system, with being able to run the correct reports and gather information such as engine hours on plant machinery is absolutely crucial within this company.”

Ease of use

“Working within this busy company, I need a system such as Quartix which simply does its job so I can get on with other aspects within my role.

The mobile app is great and easy to use, really handy when out and about doing site visits. The system itself is really easy to navigate around and if I ever need help, I know the back up will be there.”
