Vehicle tracking specialist Quartix was last night named Business of the Year at the Shropshire Star Excellence in Business Awards at a black-tie awards ceremony at RAF Cosford.
Up against other leading businesses in a hotly-contested category, Quartix vehicle tracking was awarded the accolade of Business of The Year in recognition of its growth and success in the past year.
“Quartix vehicle tracking has enjoyed a phenomenal year, which saw it float on the London Stock Exchange, enter new markets, and grow at a terrific rate,” said Martin Wright, Editor of the Shropshire Star. “It’s great to see companies representing the region on the international stage, and whetting the appetite of investors around the world.”
Working with over 6,800 businesses and organisations across the UK, France and the USA, Quartix has grown to become one of the most highly-respected providers of vehicle tracking software, combining advanced technology with a comprehensive web-based solution and outstanding customer service.
As Quartix continues to expand and undergoes a significant recruitment drive, it hopes winning the Shropshire Star EIBA Business of the Year award will help it attract the best candidates in the area: “We are a growing business looking to employ high-calibre staff in Newtown,” explains Andy Kirk, Director at Quartix. “Winning this prestigious award will increase our profile locally and help attract local, quality candidates to our organisation.”
